Duplicate product/component

It would be very useful to have an option to create a duplicate of a product or a component if someone wants to add just sligth adjustments to its already existing data set. I would imagine it like in Google Calendar when you duplicate an event. So it would open up the edit dialogue window where one could add the adjustments and then save it right away to the database.
